with free labor.
'Tis true
... volunteer labor built this park! In the
beginning it seemed impossible that a large project could be built with
a very small amount of money and no construction equipment. However,
Jim Brunsgaard, Millard and Myrtle Finch "Had
a
Dream .... that one day" with a little hard labor we could own the land
and
have a lovely park!!
Over 300 days of sunshine offer residents and
visitors an ideal
climate. The average temperature is 72 degrees F, with an average daily
high of 90 degrees in July and August. The Atlantic Ocean provides a
lovely breeze that cools the summer and warms the winter.
- Land Yacht Harbor of Melbourne has 304 sites with 50
sites designated for non-Airstreams, limited sites for 40' motorhomes, 5th wheels can be no longer than 36'.
- WBCCI membership is not a
requirement to be in the park
- Pets not allowed
- Children not allowed
- "In-season" residents must be adults, one member must be 50 and over and retired,
some
guest rentals are allowed from 5/1-10/31 who may be under age 50
and working
- Credit Cards are not accepted

Land Yacht Harbor of Melbourne has a large air-conditioned recreation hall with a library and
billiard tables. WiFi is available in the recreation hall and through
out the park.
Please
